Random posting to get caught up

Oh my!  So much has happened.  There was the terrible "blizzard"  which gifted us with about 2 1/2 inches of ice and almost no snow.  Isa saw her first high school basketball game, we found out that the new baby will be a boy (no name yet so we're calling him Ninja due to his amazing nocturnal kicking abilities), Isa's first school Valentine's Day party, a serious plague of illness that fell on the ladies of the house avoiding Miguel all together, the first snow man to see our yard, and Isa's first kite flying adventure.  And THAT'S just the highlight reel!  We've been very blessed to be this busy with getting the nursery ready and having so much fun outside lately.  Now I appreciate it a  lot more due to the fact that Isa dragged some sort of bronchitis mess home from school, gave it to me and we were both miserable for a while.  But now everyone is healthy, happy, and very busy!  We're looking forward to a great spring with lots of stuff going on and the new baby coming.

This is the very first loaf of cinnamon raisin bread I ever made from scratch.  It's awesome and I love it, it is now a household staple.
Our first snowman!  Isa and Miguel built this dapper fellow when the snow finally melted enough to stick together.  I don't know anything about the baby stroller, Miguel took this picture.
Again, I have no clue about the stroller, but Isa does love to push it around outside.  She had such a blast this year playing out in the snow!
On the toboggan racing around the yard with Daddy!
Putting snow in the bucket, dumping it over, then stomping on it.  A perfect way to kill some time outside.
Daddy and Isa in front of their handiwork!  Great job guys!
Ninja's room, pre-everything.  It's a slow process but it's looking better every day.
The fan is installed and the changing table is getting used less and less.  These are 2 facts that make a momma very happy.  Potty training is well underway here, I hoping for at least 1 diaper free month before we start all over again!
Ready to share some love!  This is the Valentine's Day party outfit.  Isa added her tutu and beads.  We did her valentines together and she had a pretty good time at her party.
Poor sick little baby!  Crashed out on the couch and drooling away.  I'm so happy she's feeling better now.
A couple of other moms from my MOPS group and I hit the zoo last Thursday (it was 70 and sunny for crying out loud!)  From the left we have August, Isa, Ben, and Leeza.  All in all, a pretty good looking bunch!
3 animals squaking at some animals.
 Kite flying!
 Hang on with both hands!

Isa learned how to launch the kite correctly.  Way to listen to directions!
