National Day of Puppetry

My little girl and me sitting down to build the bird puppet.

Putting on a show with her puppet in the upper part of the History Museum.

Building her little red bird puppet. (that's half of Sue's face on the right)

Yes, it's the National Day of Puppetry, a small holiday I didn't know existed until I worked with Sue, who's son is involved with the Puppet Guild of Greater St. Louis. She informed me that there would be some kid friendly, fun stuff going on in the History Museum today and we should check it out. It did not disappoint, Isa had a blast watching the performance of "Goldilocks and the 3 Bears" and making her own puppet. The perfect way to spend a rainy Saturday if you ask me.

My Famous Baby

I don't know how tacky it is to plug a friend's blog on your blog BUT I'm not sorry-

Ok, so she's only famous on my blog. But I did stop by a friend's photography studio and she snapped a few of Isa that are just beautiful. You'll have to visit her blog or website to see the pictures because after you see the ones of Isa you'll want to look at all the rest of them. Julie has such an incredible talent for capturing people in their element and letting the pictures she takes show the personality of her subject. She is so talented! Thanks Julie!

Mommy and Isa after we collected our 10 Easter eggs and had to get off the field so the big kids could get some eggs. Thanks to Bob and Kay for the handmade Easter basket, Isa got that before she was born.
Check it Daddy! My first collected Easter egg!

Grammy and Isa opening eggs to see all the choking hazards lying inside.

Poppy got in on the egg opening action. Nicely sporting the Disney princess sticker gifted to him during church.
Quiet baby with her sheep tattoo and face painted drinking milk in the carseat. So tired and comfy and ready to go home and fall asleep waiting for the Easter bunny.

This Sunday is a first for me. This is the first Easter Sunday morning I did not attend church. We went to an amazing Easter service last night and participated in all the Easter kidling festivities taking place including dinner outside, kid crafts, face painting, those huge jumpy things outside and a 10,000 egg Easter egg hunt in a field. We were joined by Miguel's mom and dad for all the goings on of last night. All in all I think it was a succe
